I would love to hear about what is the Kolbe profile for being a clown. You must have a fantastic data base of profiles for the others too, the possibly inauthentic roles you mentioned.
I probably have the perfect profile for being a sign painter, having done it for decades before it got old.

Testing of this page with FIrefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer produced identical result. Text formatting for About section is wrong; it cuts off words at column’s right edge. Note that changing a window or font size does not help. Is there no a webmaster to fix this?

I am so sorry that you had to go through that. Sometimes there are no words except “I’m sorry….and I care.” I was at your office this week and accidentally tried to go in the wrong building. So maybe this is why there are so many clowns with painted tears running down their faces. They are out of sync with who they really are.

There is also something to be said about the whole idea of clowns. Faces hidden behind masks of forced frivolity or sadness.

I have to admit, I am in the “it gives me the creeps” camp when it comes to clowns. Much prefer wide, true smiles and lots of laugh lines.

I am so pleased to find the Kolbe Index and frankly am amazed that I had not been exposedt to it years ago. Unbelievbeable.
For more than two decades I used the Myers Briggs indicators (in depth) to help me to staff companies that I had a hand in developing. To the degree that our local staffing company uses that indicator – Myers Briggs – as a standard methodology of evaluationg their staff. Now I will need to provide them with Kolbe’s more effective methods.
Now I have learned – from my work with Rich Schefren’s ideas – that the Kolbe indicator is an even more useful index to help to determine the actual capabilities of a potential team member.
This is extremely exciting for me as a business owner because as stated very clearly in this blog post – resumes and references are all but useless in this day and age.

I have tried all my life to not multi task and especially in meeting. On a recent project I was always in trouble for this.. stop playing with your mobile.. stop taking notes etc. However I am very new to the Kolbe concepts and I am now even looking at different careers, don’t know what yet..

I went for a job interview and to one of the questions I responded…
My MO is I am a fact finder and instictly I would get all the facts and then make my decision based on that
My boss looked at me with a WOW expression
It was a valuable tool to know what my MO is in that situation

Just boning up on my Kolbe wisdom and saw this older posting/request.

Here is my info:

Kolbe MO: 8642

SAT score: Math 560, Verbal 510 (w/o verbal subscores of reading and vocabulary- separately)

GPA in College: 3.35

I would love to schedule a time to catch up and brainstorm prior to my trip to AZ next month.
